Road Maintenance Crew in Action

Road Maintenance Division is hiring for summer help.

Does a three-day weekend sound good? Are you 18 years of age and have an Oregon driver’s license? If you answered yes, Lane County Road Maintenance may have a summer job for you! Each year we hire between 30 - 35 “extra help” workers to perform routine tasks like flagging, vegetation removal and road maintenance.

Applying is easy! Go online to and click Apply for Jobs link under Key Services. Look for the posting that reads Extra Help – Road Maintenance under the Job Title column.

Once applications are received by Human Resources you will receive a confirmation email and a request to select an interview time of either 9am-12noon or 1pm to 3pm for the Recruitment Day.  At the Recruitment Day you will hear about job opportunities available in Road Maintenance, Parks and Waste Management. You will complete a short questionnaire and request to interview with one or all Divisions that are represented.

If you are offered a position with Lane County Road Maintenance we will need some extra information from you and we will need you to perform a drug screen. We provide training and equipment.

These positions work Monday through Thursday, 6:30AM – 5:00PM. Some jobs start as early as May but a majority of the jobs are available through the summer when school is out.

Join the Road Maintenance team today.....WE ROCK!!
