On October 15, 2024, Lane County and the City of Eugene will make their joint FY 2024 Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) application available for review by the governing body of Lane County, and will provide interested members of the public an opportunity to comment.  The JAG program supports a broad range of activities designed to prevent and control crime based on local needs and conditions, and provides agencies the flexibility to prioritize and place justice funds where they are needed most.  The application is available for review on the Lane County website – www.lanecounty.org.  You may direct comments and inquiries to [email protected].     Deadline to review the application is November 13, 2024.  Opportunity for public comment will also be available at both Board of County Commissioner and Eugene City Council Meetings through November 13, 2024.  Inquiries may also be directed to the Lane County Sheriff, Clifton G.
