2020 Point in Time Count

Volunteers are needed across Lane County on January 30, 2020 for the annual Point in Time Count. 

Volunteers will be deployed from Eugene, Springfield, Veneta, Florence, and Cottage Grove.

To volunteer, fill out the following 3 forms:

1) Sign up to volunteer for the 2020 Point in Time Count! 

2) All volunteers must also fill out the Lane County Conditions of Service form here. 

3) RSVP For a Volunteer Training.

Tips for conducting outreach to people experiencing homelessness.

Lane County volunteers will utilize the "Counting Us" app from Simtech Solutions to collect surveys. Please download the "Counting Us" app from your app store for a demonstration version and to prepare for the in-person training.

All Volunteers must attend an in-person training. Training information is below. 

Veneta: Monday January 20 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Valley United Methodist Church, 25133 E Broadway Ave, Veneta, OR 97487.

Cottage Grove: Tuesday January 21 from 5:30-7 p.m. at the Cottage Grove Community Center. 700 E. Gibbs Ave, Cottage Grove, OR 97424

Springfield: Thursday January 23 from 4:30-6 p.m. in the Springfield Library Meeting Room, Springfield Library, 225 5th St, Springfield, OR

Eugene: Wednesday January 22 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Lane County Health and Human Services, 151 w. 7th Ave, Eugene, Room 258. Free parking in the Eugene Parcade Garage and Hult Center Garage (if no event is taking place). 

Florence: Thursday January 23, 4:30-6 p.m. in the Siuslaw Library, 1460 Ninth Street, Florence, Oregon. Bromley Room.
