Oregon’s Plastic Pollution and Recycling Modernization Act (RMA) will improve recycling. It will create a new system that shares the cost of recycling. Local governments, recycling companies, and the producers of packaging and paper products will all help fund recycling programs.
Lane County residents may not see changes to recycling services right away, but they should know about some upcoming improvements.
