Important Dates for Voters

• New Voter Registration Deadline - The deadline to register to vote is October 13, 2026.

• Current Voter Deadline to Update - You may update your voter registration until 8 p.m. Election Day, November 3, 2026 and receive a ballot.

• Ballots are mailed to:

• Military and overseas voters on September 18, 2026; and
• Local and out-of-state voters on October 14, 2026.

• Absentee ballots available on September 21, 2026.

• Ballot Dropsites open on October 14, 2026.

• The last day our office will mail ballots to voters is Thursday, October 29, 2026. After this date, ballots must be picked up in person at Lane County Elections.

• Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2026.

• Election results will be posted according to the Results Posting Schedule.

• Election results will be certified on November 30, 2026.

Important Dates for Candidates

• July 16, 2026 - First date to file for People's Utility District (PUD) office
• Aug. 18, 2026 - Filing deadline for elected incumbent candidates
• Aug. 25, 2026 - Filing deadline for non-incumbent (new) and appointed incumbent candidates

No measures have been filed for the November 2026 General Election at this time. Filing deadlines are listed below.

• Aug. 14, 2026 - Deadline for Special District or County to file notice of ballot title with County Elections for publication
• Sep. 3, 2026 - Measure filing deadline (completed and noticed)
• Sep. 8, 2026 - County Voters' Pamphlet deadline for filing measure arguments
