Upcoming Oregon Health Plan (OHP) Changes

Oregon Health Plan members will see several updates to eligibility and renewal rules over the next year. Here’s what you need to know to stay covered.

Get Ready

1. Update Your Contact Information

Make sure OHP can reach you when it’s time to renew. You can update your information in any of these ways:

• Visit benefits.oregon.gov
• Call 1‑800‑699‑9075 (relay calls welcome)
• Visit a local Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS) office. Find locations at ODHSoffices.oregon.gov
• Get help from an OHP Assister at oregonhealthcare.gov/gethelp

2. Reply to Renewal Notices

Watch your mail, email, or texts for renewal information and respond right away.

Changes Coming Soon

Work or Activity Rules – Starting Jan. 1, 2027

At renewal, some adults ages 19–64 may need to show proof of one of the following:

• Work
• School
• Volunteer activities
• Meeting an approved exemption

Renewal Schedule Changes – Starting Late 2027

• Some adults ages 19–64 will renew every six months
• All other members will continue to renew once a year
