Beginning May 1st, Lane County Behavioral Health (LCBH) will assume youth mobile crisis and stabilization services previously provided by Riverview Center for Growth. The transition comes as a result of continued budget constraints, and will allow Lane County to maintain access to life-saving crisis response services for youth and families seven days a week through the existing Mobile Crisis Services of Lane County program.
Lane County and Riverview have been working together on a transition plan to ensure continuity of care. In May, LCBH will provide coverage seven days a week from 6 AM to 11 PM, with plans to expand to 24-hour coverage once additional staff positions are filled. Riverview Center for Growth will continue offering a wide range of mental health services outside of youth mobile crisis response.
